Welcome to another exciting edition of New Music Releases!
We have a lot of ground to cover, so let’s get this party started.
Bush by Snoop Dogg
I admit…I am not a huge fan of Rap! However, I would highly recommend Snoop Dogg’s 13th studio album: Bush. Produced by current Voice coach and overall beat master Pharrell Williams, Snoop showcases a smooth style of Hip-hop that would entertain the listener throughout the entire album. In addition, Gwen Stefani, T.I., Kendrick Lamar and music icons Stevie Wonder and Charlie Wilson all provide vocal support at various points of the record. Kudos to Pharrell and longtime partner Chad Hugo for creating a fantastic record that introduces a new generation to a hip-hop icon. B+

Pitch Perfect 2 Soundtrack by Various Artists
Pitch Perfect brought a cappella music to the Sliver Screen! This Friday, the Barden Bellas are back and better than ever! This soundtrack contains some impeccable arrangements and bombastic vocals that create an astonishing listening experience. Congrats to every artist involved with the making of this impeccable soundtrack, it is my Album of the Week! A+

Neon Future II by Steve Aoki
Last fall, Steve Aoki released his second studio album-Neon Future I. For his sophomore effort, Aoki brought a diverse group of collaborators that ranged from will.i.am to Fall Out Boy together an intriguing studio album. Eight months later, Aoki dropped the sequel to this album. In addition to uniting with his favorites such as Linkin Park, NERVO and Rivers Cuomo, Mr. Aoki marked his first collaborations with Walk off the Earth, Matthew Koma and Snoop Dogg. This was a pleasant listening experience and I just became a fan of Mr. Aoki’s music. B
Tracks to Download: “Lightning Strikes,” “Home We’ll Go (Take My Hand),” “Light Years” & “Hysteria”
“Diamonds” by Giorgio Moroder featuring Charli XCX
Next month, EDM pioneer Giorgio Moroder will unleash his first studio album in nearly 30 years! So far, Mr. Moroder released two superb singles featuring dance floor queens Sia Furler and Kylie Minogue. Now, Mr. Moroder dropped his third single that features rising artist Charli XCX. The pop punk princess has never sounded better and the production is out of this world. I hope that this single is a hit not just in the states, but worldwide as well. A-
“Mr. Put It Down” by Ricky Martin featuring Pitbull
I have been waiting for new English-based music from The Voice Australia coach for a longtime! This club banger features strong beats from Pitbull and a spectacular vocal showcase from Mr. Martin, as he unleashed his strong falsetto for all to hear. I am extremely shocked that this track is not dominating the charts right now, because I strongly believe that this track should be playing in the Billboard Top 40! B+
“High Line” by The Bone Chimes
As always, I love introducing readers to new artists! This week, I chose Queens-based quintet the Bone Chimes. Made up of Tobi D’Amore, Alessandra Migliaccio, Ben Dobay, Tom Rizacassa and Vinny Bang, this Indie Rock quintet’s “High Line” is a breath of fresh air with quality lyrics, a superb horn section and nice vocals. I predict that this band is about ready to reach beyond the “High Line” and shoot for the stratosphere. Congrats, the Bone Chimes! “High Line” is my Song of the Week! A
