By: Jacob Elyachar,

It is a pleasure to welcome social media star Dynamite Dylan to Jake’s Take.

After Dynamite Dylan caught the music bug, he started taking vocal lessons at the age of nine and has been hard at work working on his music. He has been in numerous recording studio with rising music producers such as Poo Bear (Big Sean, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and Usher) and Russell Ali (Jacob Sartorius).  Dynamite Dylan’s last single, “Video Games’” music video garnered over 7.4 million views and featured cameos from fellow social media influencers Logan Paul, Jordyn Jones, and Christian DelGrosso.  Also, VEVO featured “Video Games” in the New Releases and homepage of the site’s pop section.

Dynamite Dylan is also a rising YouTuber as his adventures have racked up over 32 million views. Over the past few weeks, he spent Halloween in Las Vegas, met fans at Team 10 meet and greet, and helped transform Jake Paul’s Lamborghini into Smurffire.

In this edition of The Five Question Challenge, Dynamite Dylan talked about how his friends and fans inspired him to capture his life on social media and “No Competition,” his latest collaboration with fellow social media star and mentor Jake Paul.

Jacob Elyachar: When did you get interested in music? How did that passion evolve into the desire of pursuing a career in the recording industry?

Dynamite Dylan: At a young age, I think I was around eight-years-old, my parents saw my love for music and thought we should develop this into something more significant.  It is great having a support system like them.

JE: What inspired you to upload your adventures and music onto social media?                    Dynamite Dylan:  When a lot of the fans and friends of mine said “your life is very interesting” so I thought let’s give it a try! (smiles) It is entertaining connecting with friends and fans online and allowing them to take a peek into my life.

JE: Could you please share the recording process behind “No Composition” with my readers?                                                                                                                                Dynamite Dylan: It was an enjoyable process.  I worked with Mika Krstic and Mitchell Rose as they crafted the lyrics and allowed me to have creative input.  As we were laying the track down, my dad and I had this idea to include my buddy, Jake Paul, to add a little something on the track. He was down to help and came into the studio and did a great job with his verse… kept the whole fun vibe going.

JE: Why should my readers listen to “No Competition”?                                                 Dynamite Dylan: I just want to be a good role model and let them all know they can do whatever they put their mind to.

JE: If you had the chance to meet with YouTube content creators who want to branch out into the music industry, what advice would you share with them?                                              Dynamite Dylan: From my point of view, I would just tell other YouTubers not to be afraid of reaching out to other people they would want to collaborate with, you never know until you ask.
