The Masked Singer: Season 11 is getting closer to its finish line.

Group B (the Beets, Gumball, and Seal) fought for their place in the Season 11 Quarterfinals as they reflected on the Soundtrack of their Lives. Who was the performer that joined Clock, Goldfish, and Poodle Moth in the Season 11 Final Four? Which two celebrities were forced to join Joe Bastianich, Sisqó, Colton Underwood, Kate Flannery, and Jenifer Lewis in the Season 11 elimination club? Did any of the panel (Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Robin Thicke, and Rita Ora) correctly deduce the eliminated performers’ true identities?

Read on to find out!

The trio of Gumball, Seal, and the Beets opened the evening with a powerful take on one of my all-time favorite Bon Jovi hits: “It’s My Life.” It was one of the best group performances of the past several seasons. After Nick explained the rules of the evening, the Beets returned to the stage. Their pre-performance package included Banana Split, 1:41, and a knight statue. The Beets tackled Whitney Houston’s “One Moment in Time,” and from the first note, I got chills. It reminded me so much of the 2003 American Idol: Season Two finale, where Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken duked it out to inherit Kelly Clarkson’s crown and sash. This performance showcased the duo’s iconic vocals and became one of the season’s signature performances. Their clue connected them to Nick Cannon. Rita thought it was Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris, while Ken thought it was Josh Groban and Brian McKnight. However, Robin guessed Dan + Shay.

Last week, Wild Card mask Seal knocked Jenifer Lewis out of the competition! His pre-performance package included a “zombie” poster, a pirate ship with a heart on it, and Friday. He sang Run D.M.C.’s “It’s Tricky,” I still don’t know who he is. Seal is connected to Jenny as they make “a house call” together, and he appears on her radio show. Jenny thought it was her frequent guest, Corey Feldman. Meanwhile, Robin guessed Macaulay Culkin, and Rita thought it was Jerry O’Connell.

Gumball returned to The Masked Singer stage. His pre-performance package contained a video game and a car with an “X” on it. He sang Kansas’ “Carry On Wayward Son,” and it was not one of his best performances. Gumball is connected to Ken as they worked together in the past. Rita thought it was Jack Black, while Robin Thicke thought it was Zachary Levi. Jenny ended the round with James Marsden.

The panel and studio audience voted and sent Seal home! Rita doubled her guess of Jerry O’Connell, while Ken Jeong suggested Haley Joel Osment. Jenny doubled down her Corey Feldman guess, and Robin joined her. Before he took off his mask, Seal dropped the mic. JENNY AND ROBIN WERE RIGHT; COREY FELDMAN WAS THE SEAL!

As Corey Feldman left the stage, it was time for the Battle Royale! The Beets gave me chills when they sang “The Time of My Life,” it was truly magical. While Gumball was good, the Beets were excellent! The panel made the difficult decision and declared that GUMBALL (?!) will represent Group B in the Season 11 Quarterfinals! I am so heartbroken to see the Beets leave!

Robin thought it was Dan + Shay, while Jenny guessed Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet. Rita thought CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse, while Ken changed his guess to KC and JoJo!

I WAS RIGHT – The Beets were RUBEN & CLAY!!!

Next week, The Masked Singer: Season 11 Final Four face off!
