Before I start my AGT recap, I going on a miniature rant. There are too many kids acts this year on AGT! I am so appalled by Simon and the producers’ decision by advancing so many young performers that are immature to handle the pressure. I am furious that people like gospel singer Callie Day and hoop aerialist Matthew Richardson, who are ready to embrace the entertainment industry, were pushed aside for brats who should be getting ready for school.
I hope for future seasons, AGT’s production team raises the age limit to 18-years-old and up! However, I think that Simon and the team should also do a kids only version for NBC (winter), Nickelodeon, or Universal Kids; which I would be happily be one of the judges for that series. (End of Rant).
Last night, AGT went live from the Dolby Theatre for the first time! Some acts delivered star-making performances, while others disappointed with their performances. However, the decision was up to America! Who did you advance to the Season 14 Semifinals? Which act needed the Dunkin’ Save? Read on to find out!
Before we get down to business, FOUR AGT alums returned to the show to provide the results show entertainment. America’s Got Talent: The Champions inaugural winner and Season 13 champion Shin Lim teamed up with Season 14 guest judge Jay Leno. Meanwhile, Season One winner Bianca Ryan collaborated standouts Sofie Dossi and Brian King Joseph for an outstanding cover of Linda Ronstadt’s “You’re No Good.” Bianca’s vocals were on fire and it was great seeing Brian and Sofie in action.
Now for the results…
Due to a technical glitch, there would be no Judges’ Save this week. However, the Dunkin’ Save was still active. Three of the youngest acts in the competition, Emerald Belles, Sophie Pecora, and Ansley Burns, were all in danger of leaving the show! As the ladies waited backstage, the remaining nine acts pondered their fate.

- Greg Morton
At the end of the evening, it was time to reveal the winner of the Dunkin’ Save! Ansley Burns (BOO!!!!) received the Dunkin’ Save and a ticket to the Season 14 semifinals!
