Last night, The American Idol XIII Final Five (Caleb Johnson, Jessica Meuse, Jena Irene, Alex Preston and Sam Woolf) performed two songs that America picked out for them.
Some of the performers delivered beyond expectations (watch Jessica Meuse’s “Human” and Caleb Johnson’s “Still of the Night” if you missed it). Other artists (such as Sam Woolf) failed to enhance the viewing experience!
But it was you at home that decided…who stayed and who was eliminated!

After a so-so performance from Keith Urban, it was time for Ryan to reveal who was safe! But before we got to it…Ryan handed out one of the most Survivor-like twist that this show has seen in 13 seasons. He gave the group two choices: either they vote out someone or stop the elimination from happening! But, with that decision… two contestants would go home next week.
The longtime host also revealed that it would have to be a unanimous decision! After Ryan read the results, three contestants voted to keep the group together. But due to two unknown contestants’ greed….SAM WOOLF was FINALLY ELIMINATED from the competition!
