Country music star Cam and America’s Got Talent: The Champions runners-up Duo Transcend headlined a busy results show!
Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Cam has had several breakout years thanks to her hits: “Burning House” and “Diane.” Also, entertaining the audience tonight were Jake’s Take friends Duo Transcend. The husband-and-wife duo made headlines all throughout Season 13 and returned earlier this year to compete on the sophomore season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions.
Tonight, 11 more acts hoped to follow Duo Transcend’s footsteps to the finale. Only five acts were allowed to advance to the semifinals. Which acts directly advanced thanks to America’s votes? Who needed the Dunkin’ Save? Who needed the Judges (Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara)’s votes? Read on to find out!
In all honesty, this was the worst set of results this season! Kenadi Dodds, Broken Roots, and Brandon Leake should not have gotten through! Divas and Drummers of Compton, Alex Hooper, Lightwave Theatre Company, and Noah Epps all should have had their spots. At last, we got to the Dunkin’ Save, Terry revealed that Celina received it.
Celina’s advancement meant that the Bello Sisters and Resound’s fates were in the judges’ hands. Sofia Vergara kicked off the vote by giving it to the Bello Sisters. Heidi Klum decided to go with Resound with the final vote going to Howie. The veteran judge decided to the vote with the Bello Sisters!
