DC Comics announced the release date of the long-awaited sequel to the Batman story “Hush.” Fans can visit comic book shops and digital retailers on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, to pick up the first issue of Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee’s “H2SH,” which will start on Batman number 158  (Legacy issue number 923).  Loeb and Lee will reunite with “Hush” creative team members Scott Williams, Alex Sinclair, and Richard Starkings for a six-part new story.

While details for the sequel are under wraps, DC Comics dropped several preview pages and cover images from the first two chapters of “H2SH.”  Fans can expect the Dark Knight to not only tangle with archrival Hush (Bruce Wayne’s former childhood friend Dr. Thomas Elliott) but also his longtime adversary, the Clown Prince of Crime, the Joker.

The Dark Knight might also find himself in the crosshairs of Jason Todd. The second Robin was murdered by Joker in the blockbuster 1988 storyline “A Death in the Family,” only to be resurrected in Judd Winick’s 2004 to 2006 “Under the Hood” storyline, where Todd became the anti-hero vigilante Red Hood.
