Fridays are always the best days at the New York Comic Con.
You do not have to deal with a whole bunch of fans and you are free to explore everywhere without facing the lines.
Here are some activities that you need to do and panels…you need to see:
Marvel: Amazing X-Men and the Marvel Universe
Time: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Empire Stage 1-E Presented By: Arizona Beverage, Co.
As the Battle of the Atom rages on, several X-Men creators including Peter David, Gerry Duggan, Dennis Hopeless and Marjorie Liu team up with senior X-Men editor Nick Lowe to talk about the future of Marvel’s Merry Mutants.
Straczynski Writing Workshop
Time: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.; 1A-03
One of the biggest writers of the past three decades is J. Michael Straczynski. From his superb episodes of Babylon 5 to his legendary run on The Amazing Spider-Man, he has made an impact in the entertainment industry. He will be sharing his secrets and advice at this panel.
Will.i.am’s Wizards and Robots
Time: 1:45 to 2:45 p.m.; 1A23
Music maestro will.i.am is taking over the Javits Center! The music mogul will be talking about his special project with IDW: Wizards and Robots.
First Look-Justice League: WAR!
Time: 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.; Main Stage 1-D
The New 52 is bleeding over to the DCU Animated Universe. Iconic voice director Andrea Romano will be on hand with producer James Tucker to show the first clips of the upcoming animated film. Also, keep an eye out for special guests!
DC Comics-Batman
Time: 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.; Empire Stage 1-E Presented By: Arizona Beverage, Co.
The Caped Crusader’s Zero Year continues! Under the guidance of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, Batman’s New 52 origin story has excited fans! Learn what will happen with the Caped Crusader and his allies as Ann Nocenti, James Tynion IV, John Layman and Peter Tomasi join the Batman creative team on this panel.
