The Jake’s Take’s AGT Season 16 special podcast series continues! This week, I am welcoming stand-up comedian Gina Brillon to the podcast.
Raised in the Bronx, New York, Gina has been entertaining audiences since she was 17-years-old. Her first one-hour special, Pacifically Speaking, was produced by Gabriel Iglesias and debuted on NuvoTV in 2014. She appeared on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, E!’s Chelsea Lately, and The View.
She was also selected to be part of Montreal’s Just for Laughs New Faces Showcase. Also, Gina sold more tickets as a headliner within the Improv Comedy Club chain than any of her peers. Gina is also an accomplished singer, poet, and writer. Her pieces appeared in The New York Post and The New York Daily News. Also, Gina co-hosts the podcast Mess in Progress: A Homegirls Guide to Self-Help with Katherine G. Mendoza.
Gina Brillon relived her AGT audition in this edition of The Jake’s Take’s AGT Season 16 special series. She spoke about the feedback she received from both the judges – Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and the entire America’s Got Talent fan base.
