It is a pleasure to welcome actor and musician Ajay Friese to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
Over the past few years, Ajay has appeared on several television shows, including Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency (Farson Dengdamor), ReBoot: The Guardian Code (Parker/Coogz), The Order (Amir), and Riverdale (Eddie). However, Ajay became a household name when he joined Netflix’s Lost in Space reboot as Vijay Dhar. His character fell in love with Penny Robinson (Mina Sundwall).
He also starred in the 2019 post-apocalyptic science fiction film Riot Girls, which the Los Angeles Times called “[a] splashy, bloody take on Lord of the Flies with a rock ‘n’ roll spirit.” Deadline also reported that Ajay would star in the 1980s homage thriller Coming Soon.
Ajay is also an accomplished singer-songwriter. In 2020, he released his debut extended play: light a match…then run. He worked with Bon Jovi producer Everett Bradley and included several songs such as “Blackberry,” “Pyjamas,” “Higher Stakes,” and “Beauty’s So Raw.”
