It is a pleasure to welcome actress and entrepreneur Anna Marie Dobbins to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast for our milestone 175th episode.
Born in Alabama, Anna Marie started her dance career at three and began competitive dancing at eight. Being in the spotlight, she found a love for entertaining. She decided to explore acting and modeling, where she eventually landed a role in the 2011 adaption of Footloose starring Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough, and Dennis Quaid. She also starred in television dramas such as Being Mary Jane and The Vampire Diaries.
In 2018, she landed her first lead role in Lifetime’s STALKED BY MY DOCTOR: PATIENT’s REVENGE. The film catapulted her to starring as the lead in back-to-back films and quickly rose amongst the ranks as a TV movie fan-favorite actress. Several established entertainment veterans, such as Eric Roberts and Vivica A. Fox, after she starred alongside both separately in four films throughout the past two years. This past April, she starred in KILLER RIVALRY, which premiered on April 22, 2022, on the Lifetime Movie Network.
In addition to her acting career, Anna Marie Dobbins focuses her time on expanding Offero, her award-winning handbag collection made for and by women. The brand is dedicated to women’s safety and security. Each Offero handbag has anti-theft features such as patent-pending locking straps and zippers, RFID shielding pockets, and slash-proof lining. The designs appreciate the heritage, challenge the conventional, and use the familiar to inspire something that has never been done before. Proceeds from each bag are also donated to disaster relief efforts worldwide.
