For the first time, Jake’s Take is welcoming some of its favorite acts from Canada’s Got Talent (CGT).
Singer Karelia Costales is the latest performer to visit The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
Reality TV superfans might recognize Karelia on the Spanish version of The Voice – La Voz US from her time. In 2020, She performed “Que Suenen” that caught the attention of all four coaches – Luis Fonsi, Carlos Vives, Alejandra Guzmán, and Wisin. Eventually, she decided to enlist with Team Wisin, and unfortunately, she fell in the Battle Round.
Two years later, the London, Ontario resident auditioned for Canada’s Got Talent (CGT)’s sophomore season, where she sang Jennifer Holliday and Jennifer Hudson’s legendary Dreamgirls anthem: “One Night Only.” Her performance received a standing ovation from judges Lilly Singh and Trish Stratus.
In the special CGT edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Karelia Costales reflected on her audition and revealed what would winning the show mean to her.
Canada’s Got Talent airs CityTv on Tuesday.
