Author’s Note: This podcast was recorded before news broke that Britney Spears had a miscarriage. Jake’s Take is sending prayers and light to Ms. Spears and her fiancé, Sam Asghari.
The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast is celebrating its 165th episode! Thank you to everyone who has listened and watched our conversations. I also wanted to thank the fantastic guests who have taken time out of their schedules to speak with me.
Singer and dancer Harrison Barnes was our podcast’s milestone guest. Born and raised in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, he always knew he wanted to perform. He would lock himself in his room, teaching himself all the choreography of Britney Spears’ music videos, which inspired him to write his songs.
In April 2020, Harrison released his debut single: “Play Me.” The song’s music video received praise from OUT Magazine. That same year, Harrison made his debut live performance at Las Vegas Pride Festival. In addition to his recording career, he also dances as part of America’s Got Talent: Las Vegas LIVE ensemble at the Luxor Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Harrison Barnes spoke about his ties with America’s Got Talent and shared stories about some of his songs, including “Call My Name,” “Play Me,” and “Fashion,” a song that Jake’s Take premiered on April 8, 2022.
