It is a pleasure to welcome magician Dustin Tavella to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
Dustin became an overnight sensation when he premiered his magic act on America’s Got Talent: Season 16’s opener. His powerful story about adopting his son, Xander, moved both the judges (Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum) and the show’s fan base.
At the end of the segment, Dustin received a unanimous “Yes” from the judges. He started a journey that could lead him to join fellow magicians Mat Franco and Shin Lim in the America’s Got Talent winners’ circle. Thanks to my friends over at Fremantle and NBC, I spent a few minutes on the phone with him.
