It is a pleasure to welcome Scott Gardner to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
Scott Gardner grew up in Northern California and had been singing and dancing for most of his life. He was a competitive cheerleader and has had a successful career as a professional model, where he lived and worked in Asia, Los Angeles, and New York City. He has been writing his music for the past five years, developing songs that told stories about his own life experiences, then saving them away to one day record when he felt the moment was right.
In 2019, he made his first live performance at the Live. Life. Love: Concert for Suicide Prevention, presented by Journey’s in Nashville, where Scott opened for Lizzo, Louis Tomlinson, and Chelsea Cutler. Scott followed that performance with several appearances on the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour. He shared the stage with BTS, Camilla Cabello, Halsey, the Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry, Niall Horan, and Taylor Swift.
When the world went into lockdown, Scott continued to write songs. He collaborated with Billboard Dance charting DJ and producer Hector Fonseca to produce a new remix version of his song: “Daydreaming.” He also released another song, “What You Do to Me,” and appeared on the Amazon Prime Pride float during New York City’s End of Pride parade during the city’s Pride Month celebration.
In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Scott Gardner spoke about overcoming the challenges he faced breaking into the entertainment industry and shared stories behind some of his songs such as “PG,” “Getting Over You,” and “Daydreaming.” Plus, we shared our stories where we encountered Britney Spears.
