It is a pleasure to welcome singer, songwriter, bassist, and actress Heather Youmans to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
At 10-years-old, Heather Youmans began her career in the entertainment industry with professional theatre. She performed in various theatrical productions across Southern California, such as Annie, Annie Get Your Gun, Footloose, Little Women, The Music Man, and The Sound of Music. In addition to acting, Heather has a passion for music. She opened for Sting and the late Natalie Cole.
Over the years, Heather wrote and recorded original music for a plethora of movies such as Moondance Alexander (2007), Flicka 2 (2010), Marley & Me: The Puppy Years (2011), and High Strung (2016). Heather and her music were also featured in several high profile media outlets, including Forbes Women, The Los Angeles Times, and Parade Magazine.
Recently, Heather Youmans made an appearance on an episode of FOX’s I Can See Your Voice. As the Tap Dancer, she showcased her phenomenal vocals and superb tapping skills with an energetic cover of 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Youngblood.” The performance blew celebrity detectives Bob Saget, Cheryl Hines, and Yvette Nicole Brown away. Heather also received praise from the host (and current Masked Dancer panelist) Ken Jeong, who stated: “You are a genius. Just incredible. Can’t wait to see your star soar!”
In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Heather Youmans talked about her experience on FOX’s I Can See Your Voice and spoke about her single: “Shine.”
