It is a pleasure to welcome singer-songwriter Asher Knight to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
Originally from Bradford, United Kingdom, Asher discovered his passion for music and singing since he was 16-years-old. While he was initially reluctant to pursue a career in the music industry, Asher’s self-confidence strengthened through developing his craft.
When Asher moved to London to focus on his career, he received a plethora of opportunities. He had several writing sessions with top recording artists, including James Blunt, Mark Owen, Olly Murs, and Red Triangle. Before the COVID-19 Pandemic, Asher had the opportunity to open for Boyzone, Steps, the Vamps, and Will Young across the United Kingdom.
Asher appeared on several BBC outlets, including BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Leads, and BBC Radio Two. He was also featured in Manchester, England-based magazine Big Issue North. Later this year, Asher Knight will release his highly anticipated extended play: Alone.
In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Asher Knight spoke about the lessons he learned from spending time on tour with Will Young and his new single: “Alone.” He also talked about several of his most viewed covers on YouTube, including Justin Bieber’s “Anyone” and Olivia Rodrigo’s “Driver’s License.”
