It is a pleasure to welcome actor Spencer Breslin to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
A talent scout discovered Spencer in a New York City playground at the age of three. He starred in over 50 commercials for Life Cereal and McDonald’s. When he was four, Spencer Breslin debuted on ABC’s short-lived sitcom Soul Man and appeared in the 1999 three-part horror miniseries Stephen King’s Storm of the Century.
Those experiences lead Spencer to star in several films, including Disney’s The Kid (starring Bruce Willis), The Santa Clause 2 and The Santa Clause 3 (starring Tim Allen), The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (starring Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway), and The Cat in the Hat (starring Mike Myers and Dakota Fanning). He also starred in TV series such as Bones, Center of the Universe (with John Goodman and Jean Smart), and Law & Order.
In addition to his film work, Spencer Breslin has a passion for music. He released his debut folk rock album, Labor Day, in 2012 on his record label, Acadian Recording Company. Ladybug Transistor’s Gary Olson recorded the album, while James William Hindle produced the record. Actor Jesse Eisenberg made a cameo on the album’s ninth track: “The Patient.”
In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Spencer Breslin spoke about some lessons he learned from his legendary cast members from past projects and his latest film: Murder, Anyone?
