It is a pleasure to welcome singer-songwriter Tabitha Fair to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
Tabitha has sung back-up for an all-star group of recording artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Sir Elton John, Lady Gaga, Mary J. Blige, Sting, and U2. She also toured with Amy Grant and recorded with Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack, Trisha Yearwood, and Wynonna Judd. Tabitha Fair also co-wrote and recorded “If We Get Through This” with the legendary Carole King for the 2002 Ben Affleck and Morgan Freeman film: Sum of All Fears. She was also featured on the Oscar-winning documentary 20 Feet from Stardom, highlighting legendary background vocalists.
Tabitha was also performed at former President Bill Clinton and former President Barack Obama’s Presidential Inaugurations. Recently, she was nominated for a Grammy as a part of Jake’s Take friend Desmond Child’s live album. She also collaborated with Billboard-charting DJ Macau. They co-wrote, recorded, and released “Fly,” which was remixed by several high-profile producers, including Grammy Winner Hex Hector and Latin Grammy nominee Robert Eibach.
In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Tabitha Fair spoke about her experience working with Amy Grant, Carole King, and Rascal Flatts. She also talked about participating in some of the most memorable Kennedy Center Honors tributes including Dolly Parton, Sir Elton John, James Brown, Sting, and Tina Turner.
