By: Jacob Elyachar, jakes-take.com

Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar’s 15th Anniversary Yearlong Celebration starts right now! I cannot believe that back in 2011, I would be doing this 15 YEARS LATER!  Thank you to all my impeccable guests and their PR teams for taking a chance on this humble platform and making my dreams come true. I also want to thank every single reader, listener, or YouTube subscriber who watched my content…I am grateful that you believe in me and this platform’s vision.

To kick things off, I invited two of my favorite guests – Reality TV trailblazers and MTV legends – Jon Brennan and Beth Stolarczyk back for our milestone 400th episode!

Jon Brennan and Beth Stolarczyk entered the pop culture world in June 1993, becoming roommates on The Real World: Los Angeles. Jon was the third houseguest introduced to the cast after Tami Roman and Dominic Griffin picked him up in his hometown of Owensboro, Kentucky, before arriving at the Venice house.  Beth made her debut in the show’s second episode: “To a New Beginning…” and the duo stayed in the house until the final episode.

Five years later, Jon returned to MTV to compete on Road Rules: All-Stars, the first season of MTV’s long-running Reality TV competition, The Challenge,  where his team (fellow Real World legends Cynthia Roberts (The Real World: Miami), Eric Nies (The Real World: New York), Rachel Campos-Duffy (The Real World: San Francisco), and Sean Duffy (The Real World: Boston)  completed tasks in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand; Monroe, Connecticut; and Los Angeles. He competed in Battle of the Seasons (2002) and The Inferno II.

Since The Challenge, Jon Brennan has turned to his passion for music, which has led to extensive touring and national appearances and helped him establish a solid career. He gained thousands of fans and opened for some of the biggest names in country music. With every performance, Jon has consistently earned high praise for his ability to connect with audiences through authentic country songs. His latest song is “You Call That A Mountain.”

One year after Jon’s win on Road Rules: All-Stars, Beth Stolarczyk competed on the second season, now titled Road Rules/Real World: The Challenge, where she made it to the final. Throughout her time on the show, Beth competed on Battle of the Seasons (2002), Battle of the Sexes, The Inferno II, The Gauntlet 2, The Duel, and The Gauntlet III. She accumulated 21 daily wins, two elimination wins, and $2,206.  Beth also competed on Paramount+’s The Challenge: All-Stars 1 and The Challenge: All-Stars 3, where she won one elimination and one daily.

Outside of the show, Beth starred, directed, and executive-produced several TV specials, including 2007’s Reality TV’s Sexiest Vixens and 2009’s Sexiest Women of Reality TV Swimsuit Calendar Edition. She also appeared on E! True Hollywood Story, Entertainment Tonight, The Screen Savers, and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Beth is also the CEO of Eyelusion Lashes Beverly Hills.

In 2021, Jon and Beth reunited with five of their cast members on The Real World Homecoming: Los Angeles on Paramount+. In 2023, Jon and Beth launched their podcast: Getting Real with Jon and Beth. On the podcast, the duo gives an insider’s perspective on reality TV, music, pop culture, and real life. Jon and Beth invite listeners to walk down nostalgia lane to the present day through honest, unfiltered one-on-one conversations.

On this milestone 400th Episode of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Jon Brennan and Beth Stolarczyk talk about scoring an exclusive interview with The Challenge icon Coral Smith, their take on the New Threats, and MTV’s legacy.
