It was a pleasure to welcome The Honeyrunners’ lead vocalist and keyboardist Dan Dwoskin. to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
The four-piece group consists of Dwoskin., bassist and vocalist Guillermo Subauste, vocalist and electric guitarist Conor Gains, and drummer and percussionist Lewis Spring. The Honeyrunners are a Canadian band that presents an Northern take on Southern Roots and Americana music. Hot-blooded and rife with the poetry of heartache. Their discography would please the ears of Alabama Shakes, Elle King, Leon Bridges, and Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats fans.
As a band, the Honeyrunners have shared the stage with The Beaches, The Balconies, King Khan, Nick Waterhouse, and Skye Wallace. The band also performed at Budweiser New Music Fest, Folk Alliance International, Indie Week, and Open Roof Film Fest.
In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Dan shared the Honeyrunners’ origin story and revealed how the band connected with their fans during the COVID-19 pandemic. Plus, Dan shared the stories behind some of the songs that are featured on the band’s latest album: Everything on Fire.
