After weeks of competition, The Masked Singer: Season Six is down to the Group A and Group B champions. Tonight, the Bull and the Queen of Hearts will battle it out for the Golden Ear. Which performer joined Monster (T-Pain), Fox (Wayne Brady), Night Angel (Kandi Burruss), the Sun (LeAnn Rimes), and Piglet (Nick Lachey) in Masked Singer’s winner circle? Who joined Bobby Berk, David Foster and Katharine McPhee Foster, Dwight Howard, Faith Evans, and Toni Braxton in the Season Six elimination club? Read on to find out!
After a retrospective of previous performers and Nick Cannon’s final entrance, it was time for The Masked Singer: Season Six finale to get down to business. The Bull kicked off the night with a moving cover of “You Gotta Be.” I got chills with his vocal performance, and I loved the addition of the gospel choir! Jenny guessed Tituss Burgess, while Ken thought it was Taye Diggs. However, Nicole stood by her Day One guess and still did not reveal it.
The Queen of Hearts performed her acoustic song of the evening. She sang Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On?” It was a fabulous performance from start to finish. Ken noted that the Queen made every song her own this season. Nicole initially thought it was Britney but then suggested Jewel. Unfortunately, Jenny and Ken went on nonsensical tangents.
The Bull’s final performance was an unplugged song. The Masked Singer rejuvenated him as a performer. His last song was The Astronaut (Hunter Hayes)’ “Invisible.” Each lyric that he song hit me like a ton of bricks. Nicole wept as she revealed that she would be rooting for him to win the Golden Trophy.
The Queen of Hearts’ final song on The Masked Singer stage was Katy Perry’s “Firework.” I was in awe of the performance and the technicolor world coming from the background. Jenny called the Queen – a “firework” and called her the winner of Season Six.
After weeks of competition, the panelists, audience members, and the show’s superfans voted. The winner of The Masked Singer: Season Six was the Queen of Hearts! As the Queen walked to the show’s winners’ circle, the panelists revisited their initial guesses. Robin changed his guess from Lil Uzi Vert to Sisqo. Dr. Ken thought it was Ne-Yo, but changed it to Taye Diggs. Jenny changed it from Brian Luttrell to Adam Lambert. Nicole finally revealed her initial guess: Todrick Hall. Nicole was correct….TODRICK HALL WAS THE BULL!!!
As Todrick left the stage, it was time for the Queen of Hearts to reveal her identity. Jenny thought it was Fergie and changed it to Jewel. Meanwhile, Robin switched Idina Menzel to Jewel. Ken stood by his guess of Renee Z. Nicole changed her guess from Carrie Underwood to Jewel.
