Til the end of time by Almost Monday
Almost Monday kicks off this edition of Jake’s Take’s Artists to Watch! The San Diego trio consists of vocalist Dawson Daugherty, guitarist Cole Clisby, and bassist Luke Fabry just dropped their second extended play: Til the end of time. From the first note of “live forever,” I was blown away by this trio’s superb sound. It is no wonder that they received high acclaim from Earmilk and GQ Australia. Til the end of time is a joy to listen to, and I cannot wait to see what Almost Monday does next! A

6 Of a Billion -EP by Claire Rosinkranz
Countless media outlets such as American Songwriter and Billboard cannot stop talking about Generation Z singer-songwriter Claire Rosinkranz. Thanks to a massive following on Instagram and TikTok, Claire’s music has gone viral several times over the past two years. She recently dropped her second extended play: 6 Of a Billion. As I listened to the EP, her songs reminded me of the first time I heard Billie Eilish and Lorde. The songs are catchy, and Claire takes the D-I-Y method of music-making to the next level of excellence. I look forward to seeing how her career develops because Claire can have a lasting career. B+

Dangerous Levels of Introspection by JP Saxe
After writing tunes for Samantha Jade, Allie X, and Julia Michaels, Canadian singer-songwriter JP Saxe stepped into the spotlight as a singer-songwriter. His debut album, Dangerous Levels of Introspection, features some impeccable tracks that reflect our current state of the world. The lyrics are thought-provoking, and the production is slick. Also, keep an ear out for both Julia Michaels and Maren Morris, who collaborated with JP Saxe on two unique duets. B
