Last week, the Snow Queen’s Spell of Shattered Sight was broken!
Unfortunately, Ingrid sacrificed her life to save the town from destruction. Before she reunited with her sisters in the afterlife….The Snow Queen returned Emma and Elsa’s memories and reminded her “sisters” and her niece, Anna, that each of them were special.
As the town went back to normal, several questions remained…Did the Snow Queen’s magic barrier around the town finally drop? Can Elsa, Anna and Kristoff return home to Arendelle to save their kingdom from Hans and his nasty brothers? What dark schemes Mr. Gold is ready to unleash upon the world?

As Elsa used her magic to melt the ice wall, Emma realized that Ingrid’s magic remained. While Elsa wanted to take their sweet time, Anna and Kristoff filled her in on Hans’ hostile take over of Arendelle. Once, Elsa demanded to immediately find a portal; Hook reported the duo’s delayed departure to Gold.
Gold knew that Anna’s appearance would ruin his plans. He ordered Hook to keep an eye on Anna and advised him to say goodbye to Emma, because when the stars aligned with the Sorcerer’s Hat…he would be free of the Dark One’s curse.
With Ingrid’s death, Marian thawed and Regina put her heart back into her lover’s wife’s body. Marian talked to Regina about Robin’s heart moving on with Regina! While Regina denied her love for the thief, Marian even stated that she would step out-of-the-way for Robin and Regina to be happy.
As Belle packed, Henry spilled the beans on Operation Mongoose to his grandma. While searching for another suitcase, she spied a magical object: a glove from Camelot. She immediately became suspicious of her husband’s plans.
Under Gold’s spell, Hook shared the information about the portal to Arendelle. Emma realized that there were something wrong with her lover and began to look for clues.
Regina reunited with Robin Hood’s family and he revealed that he chose Regina over his ex-wife. As he was about to propose, Marian had a set back and went back to the coma. Looking for answers, Robin panicked and asked Regina for a solution. The former Evil Queen that she could cross the town line to begin a new life. However, it would be the last time Marian would have her old memories!
As Regina watched the Hoods leave, Gold confronted Regina about Henry’s apprenticeship and revealed that he was searching for clues about the storybook’s author. Rumple advised Regina to grasp at her happy ending and told her that despite their differences, he wanted her to have a happy ending!
Unfortunately, she would not receive her happy ending anytime soon as Regina made the ultimate sacrifice and let Robin Hood go with his family to the outside world. As Regina choked back tears and ripped the storybook page, Hook and Gold went over to the Clock Tower to begin his magic spell.
The Charmings said their goodbyes to Elsa, Kristoff and Hans! Before Anna went the portal…she wondered about the identity of Mr. Gold. Once, she revealed that Mr. Gold and Rumple were one in the same. They were able to stop Gold from using the Sorcerer’s Hat and killing Hook. But before he could kill the pirate, his angry wife with the real knife and demanded to him to stop killing Hook and banished him from the town.
As Emma and Regina celebrated Gold’s departure, Henry found a crucial clue to the author of the book. He revealed that the mansion’s library contained millions of blank books. Delighted with the news, Regina revealed Operation Mongoose to Emma and she became the third person to become a member of Operation Mongoose.
Back in the Enchanted Forest, Belle had an almost lethal encounter with the Queens of Darkness. A Dalmatian puppy (probably Pongo) lead her away from her chores and into a darker part of the forest…. where she was kidnapped. Eventually, Rumple went looking for his future wife. A raven dropped a seashell message that had Belle pleading for him to bring his Camelot glove or she would be killed.
An angry Rumple followed the raven to its masters…Maleficent, Cruella and Ursula the Sea Witch! The trio almost killed Belle until Rumple saved her. It was also revealed that the Queens of Darkness were once Rumple’s students and they failed to defeat him in the Enchanted Forest.
The show jumped six months later, where it was revealed that Rumple arrived in New York City and found Ursula working at an aquarium. He convinced the Sea Witch to join him and they slowly began a new quest to find the author of the storybook!
