As longtime Once Upon a Time fans know, there are consequences for crossing the Dark One known as Rumpelstiltskin a.k.a. Mr. Gold!
If you ever hurt or humiliate him, you might lose a limb or your soul (just ask Hook and his ex-wife, Milah). Harm or kill any of his loved ones, you are looking for a lifetime of torture (I am looking at you, Zelena).
But what happens if you are his true love? After years of blindly loving her Beast, Belle was finally fed up with her husband and cut him out of her life. However, Belle is carrying his second child, and after losing his son, Baefire/Neal, to Zelena, Gold has gone to extreme measures to make sure that his unborn son is in his life. Some of those measures include trapping Belle in Storybrooke and getting revenge on the Wicked Witch by asking her sister, the Evil Queen, to murder her.
Will the Evil Queen carry out her lover’s wishes? Did Belle and her baby escape Rumple? Read on to find out!
Back in the Enchanted Forest, Belle was shocked when Rumple brought a baby to the castle. She was also horrified to learn that Rumple stole the baby from his parents. Belle angrily asked, “What kind of Beast steal a child from its parents?” Rumple dodged her question and told her not to disturb him. He also advised Belle not to hide the baby from him, because he will find out.
As Belle escaped, the Blue Fairy arrived and to helped Belle flee from the Tower. Blue Fairy revealed that Gold stole the child to give to the Black Fairy. In the forest, Rumple summoned the Black Fairy and revealed that she was his mother. The Black Fairy stated that she chose power over love.
In Storybrooke, Gold confronted a nun who told him that the Blue Fairy would stop his plan. Gold used magic to tie her up and added that “the wingless glow mom would not stop him.” The Evil Queen suddenly appeared and asked him why did Gold despise fairies. The villain wondered why the Queen appeared and stated that she wanted to join in the fun. Gold said that she should be taking care of her sister, but the Evil Queen questioned his order: “You expect me to kill my flesh and blood for you?” Gold reminded her that if she were serious about their “new beginnings,” she would follow through. The Evil Queen asked him why did she choose her over Belle and Gold spilled that he finally came to his senses and that Belle would not accept who Gold was as a person. As Gold sent the Evil Queen to her task, he sent a message to the fairies as he took away the captive fairy’s mortality.
Everyone was shocked with Rumple’s plan, and Belle explained to the gang that he cannot scare her. In the library, Belle found a manual that would defeat the Dark One and it instructed her “to follow the strand.” The strand led her down to the Shears of Destiny and her son, Morpheus. He warned her that Gold was going to use the shears to break them apart and told her to use her intuition to stop Rumple.
As Emma and Hook advised her to let Belle to let them handle Gold, Snow and Jasmine talked about genies and Jasmine stated that she was worried about the price. Meanwhile, Zelena received an unwelcome visitor: her sister. Just as the Evil Queen was about to kill the Wicked Witch, Regina intervened and saved Zelena.
While the Evil Queen vanished, Emma and Hook invaded Gold’s office and used squid ink to paralyze him briefly. But, thanks to Emma’s nightmarish visions of the future, Gold could escape and visit his wife. Gold confronted his wife in the library and told Belle that he would not lose another son. He told Belle that no one would love him and hoped that his newborn son would be the only one that would love him. Belle warned him that there was a price to pay and added that he would lose her forever.
As Gold left the library, Regina healed her sister’s nasty bruise and as the Wicked Witch started to apologize but Regina cut her short and stated that she could never forgive her, but only pity her. While Zelena broke down in tears, Aladdin and Jasmine discovered that the genie in the bottle was set free. Aladdin sacrificed his freedom to take the genie’s place in the lamp.

The Evil Queen confronted Gold and predicted that he would lose both Belle and his son forever. After the Queen had taunted him, Gold broke off their partnership. Meanwhile, someone accelerated Belle’s pregnancy using magic. Belle had one final meeting with her son in the dream world.
Gold broke through the magical barrier and stormed his way into the nun’s compound. Belle gave birth to her son and asked Mother Superior to be his fairy godmother and requested that she took their son into hiding. Just as the Blue Fairy retreated, Gold vowed that he would find his son and figured out that the Evil Queen was behind the poisoning. Gold vowed revenge against the Evil Queen and let out his rage.
As Gold left his shop, Emma and Hook found the sword that will kill her in the future.
