It is a pleasure to welcome fitness coach and bodybuilder Sam Tavoosian to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast. Born and raised in Iran, Sam moved to the United States when he was 16-years-old.
When he arrived in Los Angeles, Sam Tavoosian started his senior year in high school. Still, due to not having sufficient credit requirements to graduate, Sam decided to get his GED and started his entrepreneurial journey. After selling bus tour tickets to tourists on Hollywood Boulevard, he pursued a music career when he enrolled and graduated from the Musicians’ Institute’s Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT). Sam gave private guitar lessons at his studio and taught at numerous schools.
Also, Sam Tavoosian received an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix and was preparing to go into medical school. Just about he was training to become an Emergency Medical Technician, he decided to shake up his life. Sam could not fit the 9-to-5 mold and wanted a different path.
That path came from his passion for fitness and bodybuilding. This year, Sam Tavoosian celebrated his fifteenth anniversary in the fitness world. He is a certified personal trainer and national level NPC (National Physique Committee) competitor in the Men’s Physique division.
In this episode, Sam Tavoosian opened up about standing out in the fitness industry and overcoming obstacles that he faced in his career. He also opened up about starting the Intensiti brand.
