San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC)’s Saturdays are always packed with memorable events. Here are some of the cannot miss panels that Jake’s Take will be keeping its eyes on….

Batwoman Pilot Screening and Q&A (10:30 AM to 11:45 AM; Ballroom 20)

There is a new caped crusader protecting Gotham City. Her name is Batwoman! Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) joins the family business as she hunts Gotham’s criminal scum. Several cast members and producers will take questions from SDCC attendees after the pilot’s airing.

DC Year of the Villain (11:15 AM to 12:15 PM; Room 6DE)

Lex Luthor is about to give the DC Comics universe’s greatest antagonists a gift. If the villains accept the present, it will spell bad news for our favorite heroes. Learn about the comic book publisher’s Year of the Villain companywide crossover at this SDCC panel.

Sir Patrick Stewart will reprise his iconic role of Jean-Luc Picard in the highly anticipated CBS All Access series, Star Trek: Picard. The legendary actor will participate at an SDCC panel today. (Video property of CBS All Access)

Enter the Star Trek Universe Panel (11:30 AM to 1 PM; Hall H)

2019 will be a big year for the Star Trek franchise! CBS All Access will unveil plans for Star Trek: Discovery and the two upcoming series, Star Trek: Lower Decks and Star Trek: Picard. Tig Notaro (Chief Engineer Reno) is scheduled to moderate the Star Trek Discovery conversation featuring actress Sonequa Martin-Green and series’ executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Michelle Paradise, and Heather Kadin.  Star Trek: Lower Decks co-creator and executive producer Mike McMahan will tease SDCC Hall H attendees about the animated series. Finally, Sir Patrick Stewart will headline the Star Trek: Picard panel with co-stars Alison Pill, Michelle Heard, Evan Evagora, and Harry Treadaway.

Scooby-Doo’s 50th Birthday Bash (12:30 PM to 1:30 PM; Room 6A)

Everyone’s favorite great dane is turning 50-years-old! Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is throwing a significant SDCC party for Scooby-Doo’s milestone birthday. Voice actors Grey Griffin (Daphne) and Kate Micucci (Velma) will join the franchise’s creators at this panel where they will reveal Scooby-Doo’s future.

Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing (1:45 to 2:45 PM; Room 6A)

This SDCC edition of Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing focuses on Jonathan Hickman’s return to the House of Ideas. The former Avengers and Fantastic Four scribe is focusing on revitalizing the X-Men. Marvel Comics editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski will moderate this conversation as they reveal details about Jonathan Hickman’s House of X and Powers of X series.

Sesame Street’s 50th Anniversary Panel (2:45 PM to 3:45 PM; Room 6BCF)

Sesame Street is celebrating its milestone fiftieth anniversary this year! This game-changing show has educated and entertained generations of people from around the world. Actress Sonia Manzano (Maria), Sesame Workshop SVP of Content and Curriculum Dr. Rosemarie Truglio, and several of the show’s notable puppeteers including Matt Vogel (Big Bird and the Count), Eric Jacobson (Bert, Grover, and Oscar the Grouch), and Ryan Dillon (Elmo) are scheduled to participate at this panel.

Arrow Special Video Presentation and Q&A (3:30 PM to 4:15 PM; Ballroom 20)

After eight seasons, Arrow is coming to a close! The CW superhero drama will air its eighth and final season this fall. How will Arrow end? Find out when the show’s cast and crew make their last SDCC appearance.

Marvel Studios (5:15 to 6:45 PM; Hall H)

What happens after Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: Far from Home? Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige along a few surprise panelists will reveal the future for the Marvel Cinematic Universe at this SDCC panel.
