As the world says goodbye to Whitney Houston on Saturday, jacobelyacharjournalist.com honors the fallen pop icon with an entry that focuses several of her best duets.     These duets showed Whitney at her finest and featured a diverse group of artists from pop and R&B genres.

Whitney recorded a duet with her godmother, The Queen of Soul, for Aretha’s 1989 album Through the Storm.  This Albert Hammond and Diane Warren up-tempo duet showcased a vocal battle over a mutual man.    Click here to listen to this powerhouse duet: http://youtu.be/k7mL9SEiqE4
