Tired of listening to the boring music that your gym plays over the intercom?
Listen to the official Jake’s Take workout playlist…when you workout!
Here are some of my favorite workout tunes:
“Do What U Want“ by Lady Gaga & Christina Aguilera
Two of my favorite pop powerhouses first performed this song on The Voice: Season Five finale! I love their vocal chemistry and their fierce delivery! This song helps me get through a few round of burpees without complaining!
“Trespassing” by Adam Lambert
Adam Lambert’s pop rock anthem will definitely get your endorphins going! Perfect speed walking song!
“Black Lights” by Andrew De Leon
One of Jake’s Take’s favorites will transport your gym’s track into a nightclub with his impeccable club hit.
“Que Hiciste” by Jennifer Lopez
Sometimes I like listening to songs in other languages! The American Idol judge’s hit from Como Ama Una Mujer will bring the Latin heat that you need to deadlift!
“When Love Takes Over” by Frenchie Davis
Frenchie Davis’ cover of “When Love Takes Over” is my go-to cover to listen to whenever I run. Her high-octane vocal runs and club-like is the song you need for speed!
“I’m Still Standing” by Elton John
The legendary Piano Man’s piano pounding and velvet vocals are the perfect remedies when you feel emotionally and physically exhausted from a workout!
“Dance The Night Away” by Santana feat. Pat Monahan
Carlos Santana’s superb guitar playing and Pat Monahan’s strong vocals make the perfect combination when bench pressing!
“Gimme Shelter” by the Rolling Stones
One of the greatest rock songs of all-time by one of the best rock bands of all-time!
“Dancing on the Ceiling” by Lionel Richie & Rascal Flatts
When the legendary R&B singer recorded his country album, Tuskegee, he invited Rascal Flatts to make “Dancing on the Ceiling” a country track. The result will make you put this song on repeat for the remainder of your workout.
“Scream & Shout” by will.i.am feat. Britney Spears
The final track on the first volume of my playlist is will.i.am & Britney’s massive hit! With over 334,000,000 views on YouTube, it is the perfect song to finish an intense workout!
