Tonight is part one of the Voice’s season finale.   There have been incredible performances from this season but if fans could pick 10, they would have a tough time picking them out.    So, jacobelyacharjournalist.com has picked the 10 best performances from some of this year’s outstanding contestants in a two-part series that will cross over with my Examiner.com page.

10. Tony Vincent-Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)

If contestants are in danger of leaving the show, you need to perform your heart out and leave everything on the stage.  Tony Vincent’s superior cover of the Eurythmics’ classic gave the audience goose bumps and chills.

9. Juliet Simms-Roxanne

One of the best rock performances on the show came from Juliet Simms’s impeccable cover of “Roxanne.”   Juliet’s rendition of “Roxanne” brought the crowd and the judges to their feet through her impressive vocals and swagger.

This performance helped Juliet made a star. To watch this performance, click here: http://youtu.be/BT8QpLBjJt4

8. Lindsey Pavao-Somebody I Used to Know

For many Voice fans, Lindsey Pavao should have been in the season finale.   Lindsey’s unique vocal and performance style started gaining fans throughout every stage in the competition.   However, her cover of Gotye’s super hit was her best performance during her run on the show.

Despite Lindsey being eliminated from last week’s semi-finals, she will have a great career ahead of her.  To watch her cover of “Somebody I Used to Know,” click here: http://youtu.be/hCkNfSDzgVo

7. Jermaine Paul-Against All Odds

The former Alicia Keys background singer bore his soul when he sang the Phil Collins standard during the Live Quarterfinals.   This performance received a lot of positive feedback from the judges.

6. Jordis Unga-Alone

If there was an award for the greatest comeback performance of this season, the award would go to Team Blake’s Jordis Unga.   During the first week of the Live Rounds, the former Rockstar: INXS finalist found herself in the Bottom Three performers of Team Blake.   Blake saved her from elimination and she redeemed herself in America’s eyes with this impressive performance.

While her run on the Voice was short-lived, Jordis’s performance will go as one of the best comebacks in the show’s history.   Click here to re-watch this performance: http://youtu.be/CfpKR98k_4I
