On Saturday, I revealed part one of my countdown of the 25 Greatest Performances from The Voice.
Today, our countdown concludes with performances that made us smile, cry and cheer for our favorite rising performers.
15. Amber Carrington- “I Remember You” (Team Adam; Season Four)
Team Adam’s resident country girl transformed the 80s anthem into a beautiful country ballad that would have made Skid Row very proud.
14. Terry McDermott- “Broken Wings” (Team Blake; Season Three)
The Scottish rocker’s final solo performance made his coach proud with his cover of Mr. Mister’s signature song.
13. Nicholas David-“Lean on Me” (Team CeeLo; Season Three)
Saint Paul, Minnesota’s favorite blue-eyed soul man delivered a poignant cover of Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me” that took the audience to church.
12. Michelle Chamuel-“Time After Time” (Team Usher; Season Four)
Team Usher’s last contestant breathed new life into Cyndi Lauper’s classic. Her brilliant interpretation of the song was her ticket to last season’s finale!
11. Sasha Allen-“Bad Girls” (Team Shakira; Season Four)
For her final solo performance on the show, Sasha took the Voice audience to Studio 54 with her tribute to the late Queen of Disco: Donna Summer.
10. Kim Yarbrough-“Tell Me Something Good” (Team Adam; Season Two)
Kim Yarbrough’s master class performance of Chaka Khan’s “Tell Me Something Good” was not only the best Blind Audition of the show’s first two seasons but caught the attention of both Adam and Christina.
9. Tony Vincent-“Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” (Team CeeLo; Season Two)
Rocker Tony Vincent’s final performance on The Voice stage still remains the best
“Save-Me Performance” in The Voice’s history. Not only did he brilliantly merge both Marilyn Manson and the Eurythmics’ versions of “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” but also he dominated the stage with his superb vocals and amazing stage presence.
8. Dia Frampton-“Losing My Religion” (Team Blake; Season One)
Dia Frampton brilliantly fused folk rock into her cover of R.E.M.’s Grammy-winning song. Her performance of “Losing My Religion” also helped Dia reach the show’s first season finale.
7. Cassadee Pope-“Cry” (Team Blake; Season Three)
Cassadee Pope’s outstanding cover of Faith Hill’s “Cry” not only gave everyone chills, but it also sealed the deal on winning the third season!
6. Frenchie Davis-“When Love Takes Over” (Team Christina; Season One)
Team Christina’s powerhouse vocalist brought David Guetta and Kelly Rowland’s collaboration to an elite level of excellence when she performed the song on the Voice’s very first Live Performance Show!
5. Trevin Hunte- “Listen” (Team CeeLo; Season Three)
Trevin Hunte’s stunning cover of Beyonce’s “Listen” received over 5,000,000 views on YouTube. His outstanding vocals caught the attention of Christina, Blake and Cee Lo, which helped him start a journey that took him to the third season’s Semi-Final.
4. Judith Hill-“What A Girl Wants” (Team Adam; Season Four)
Judith Hill’s brilliant rearrangement of Christina’s “What A Girl Wants” showcased her amazing vocal range and made her a contender for the Live Shows.
3. Chris Mann-“You Raise Me Up” (Team Christina; Season Two)
If there were an award for Best Male Vocal of the entire series, it would probably go to Season Two finalist Chris Mann for his astonishing cover of Josh Groban’s “You Raise Me Up.” He gave viewers chills and made his divalicious coach very proud!
2. Amanda Brown-“Dream On” (Team Adam; Season Three)
Amanda Brown’s version of “Dream On” will always be the best performance from Season Three! Her show-stopping performance featured pitch-perfect vocals and an infectious energy that carried her to the Top Six of her season!
1. Juliet Simms- “Roxanne” (Team CeeLo; Season Two)
The Season Two runner-up’s powerful interpretation of The Police’s signature song showed flawless vocal control and breathed new life into her season. It will be very hard for future contestants to top this performance in seasons to come.
