The next five songs of the series feature several artists that will be dominating the countdown throughout the next couple of entries.

45. “All You Need Is Now”-Duran Duran

The title track to the British band’s 13th studio album showed off some incredible musicianship and also features strong vocals from Simon Le Bron, great keyboard programing from Nick Rhodes and impressive drums from Roger Taylor.

44. “If We Ever Meet Again”-Timbaland feat. Katy Perry

One of Timbaland’s catchiest tracks off of his second Shock Value album came from his collaboration with Katy Perry.  The “Hot N Cold” girl added some saucy vocals to Timbaland’s beats, which made this song a massive hit around the world.

Rihanna X Factor

43. “We Found Love”-Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris

We Found Love” not only marked the Barbados beauty’s first collaboration with the Scottish DJ but the song was also her 11th number one single on the Billboard Hot 100.   Rihanna’s sultry vocals were a perfect fit with Calvin Harris’s background music.   In addition, this song has been covered by numerous artists including Coldplay, Jessie J and X Factor alum Josh Krajcik.

42. “Without You”-David Guetta feat. Usher

David Guetta returns to the countdown with another song from his successful 2011 album: Nothing But the Beat.   “Without You” showcased one of Usher’s finest vocal performances in an up-tempo song but also added one of Guetta’s finest mixing moments.   According to the Recording Industry Association of America, it has sold over 2,000,000 copies and counting.

41. “Your Body”-Christina Aguilera

The former Voice mentor wraps up day two of our countdown with her hit from Lotus.  “Your Body” is a brilliant collaboration between Aguilera’s powerful vocals and the production team of Max Martin and Shellback.
