The Voice should open a business for hosting for reunions because these alumni get-togethers have been growing in size for over the past few weeks.

Last week, the show brought back three fan-favorite coaches (CeeLo Green, Usher & Gwen Stefani) to help the coaches mentor their remaining contestants…now, four of the show’s most beloved alums returned to the ol’ homestead.

Unfortunately, their timing could be off as they arrived for a surprising elimination show!

Tonight, one artist left the competition. Did a coach lose their team? Or did America accidently send a frontrunner to the guillotine? Read on to find out…

Team Christina Season Five powerhouse Jacquie Lee kicked off the night with fiery rendition of the Sia-penned single: “Tears Fall.” As Christina beamed with pride, I realized that I sever severely underestimated Jacquie Lee as a singer when she was on Season Five. I am glad that Jacquie revealed in her talk with Carson that she balanced academics while pursuing a recording career.

As Jacquie left the stage, the Top Six learned their fates. Before Carson revealed that Team Pharrell ‘s Sawyer Fredericks, Kimberly Nicole paid homage to coach Christina! While she said some fantastic complements, my Spidey Sense detected that something sinister was at foot.

After talking to Carson, Avery left the stage and the results continued. Koryn was the latest contestant to praise their coach. While her response was very pageant-esque, Koryn showcased that she was still the same down-to-Earth teen that we met during the Blind Auditions. In other news, Meghan Linsey was the second artist that will be going to next week’s Semi-Finals.

Another Team CeeLo alum (and original Team Red finalist) Vicci Martinez debuted her latest single: “Bad News Breaker.” It was intriguing to see that Vicci went from being known as the show’s original rocker chick to an EDM-pop artist. Her vocals were superb and I loved her performance.

The four remaining Voice artists returned to the stage and we learned that America’s votes saved Koryn Hawthorne! As I was deliberating the potential of an excruciating sing-off between Team Christina’s reigning divas, last season winner Craig Wayne Boyd exclusively dropped his latest single: “I’m Still Here.” It was a fantastic single and Craig’s stunning vocals still cut through the room like a knife.

Just as I suspected, AMERICA GOT IT WRONG with their voting and sent an Kris Allen copycat into the Semi-Finals. Now, we have to deal with a Team Christina sing-off!

Up first, India Carney with her rendition of P!nk’s “Perfect.” Yes, there were some vocal flaws at the beginning but her vocals were astonishing throughout the remainder of the song. A- Kimberly Nichole ended the round with her sultry cover of “Seven Nation Army” and delivered a showstopping performance. A

While America saved Team Christina’s India Carney from elimination, I would like to take the time to wish Kimberly Nichole nothing but the best! America, you need to vote for vocal ability from now on! Don’t let mediocrity take this show down!
