The Masked Singer: Season 10 concluded tonight!
Weeks after surprising unmaskings, the final four undercover celebrities, Cow, Donut, Gazelle, and Sea Queen, squared off for the Golden Mask! Who joined T-Pain, Wayne Brady, Kandi Burress, LeAnn Rimes, Jewel, Amber Riley, and Bishop Briggs in the Winners’ Circle? Which celebrities found themselves in the Season 10 Elimination Club with Tom Sandoval, Billie Jean King, Countess LuAnn, Sebastian Bach, John Oates, and Ginuwine?
Did any panelists (Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Robin Thicke, and the departing Nicole Scherzinger) correctly deduce the remaining performers’ true identities? Read on to find out!
All four finalists performed together for the first time this season. They tackled the Ramones’ “What I Like About You.” Cow and Donut soared to the occasion, while Gazelle had some bright spots in the performance. Nick entered as the confetti fell to the stage, and Jenny predicted that the Season 10 finale would be one of the show’s best.
Cow took the stage and stated that he had friends on the panel and paid homage to his mother. He sang Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation” in a performance filled with strobe lights. I still believe that Ne-Yo is under the Cow Mask. Robin declared it the best performance they had ever had, while Cow continued to hit Nick Cannon. Cow revealed that he is a fan of The Masked Singer. Robin guessed Ne-Yo, and Nicole suggested Usher and Ken joined her in the guess. Jenny added Billy Porter into the mix.
Gazelle Mask received the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell from Ken! Gazelle sang Snow Patrol’s “Chasing Cars,” once again, I still do not know who has this gorgeous voice. Ken declared it – her best performance. Jenny suggested Ashley Tisdale, while Nicole thought it was Gina Rodriguez. Ken doubled down and stated that Gazelle was Constance Wu.
Sea Queen is the final Wild Card performer (and the first one ever to make it to the finale) left standing. In her pre-performance package, Sea Queen revealed her discomfort in the costume. She sang “Rescue Me,” and I heard Macy Gray’s unforgettable voice. While it took several crew members to get her off the stage floor, Robin stated it was “entertaining times 10,” and Jenny said Sea Queen was a legend. Nicole declared that Macy Gray was the Sea Queen, and Ken joined in guessing his fellow I Can See Your Voice co-star. Jenny and Robin also suggested the “I Try” singer.
Donut Mask has become one of my favorite masked celebrities in this competition. The whole process helped Donut remember his wife and said he was finally smiling again. He gave a goosebump-inducing cover of Joe Cocker’s “You Are So Beautiful.” Donut has one of the best voices we have heard in the past couple of seasons. However, many social media fans suggested that actor John Schneider is behind the mask. An emotional Nicole said having Donut on The Masked Singer stage was an honor. Nicole doubled down and guessed that the legendary Engelbert Humperdinck. Robin suggested it was Sir Tom Jones, and Jenny put the clues together and stated John Schneider.
The Masked Singer panel and audience voted. Sea Queen came in fourth place! The entire panel unanimously declared that Macy Gray was the Sea Queen. The panel and I were right…MACY GRAY WAS THE SEA QUEEN!
After Macy sang her signature song: “I Try,” and left the stage, it was time to reveal third place. COW and DONUT were the final two, as Gazelle received the Bronze Medal. Robin thought Ashley Tisdale was behind the mask, and Jenny doubled down with the High School Musical star. Ken stood his ground and suggested his dear friend Constance Wu and Nicole guessed Gina Rodriguez. No one got it right – JANEL PARRISH was GAZELLE!
We will have a male victor for the first time since Nick Lachey was crowned the Season Five Champion! Donut’s final performance was Uncle Kracker’s “Drift Away,” and once again, he gave me goosebumps. His voice is so comforting, and I hope he releases all of his Masked Singer performances on Apple Music and Spotify soon.
Cow returned one final time to earn votes for the Golden Mask trophy. He sang Rihanna’s “Take a Bow,” a song that he (Ne-Yo) co-wrote with Stargate, and he gave me the last set of goosebumps of Season 10! Jenny declared that Cow was a “legendary artist” and “superstar,” while Nicole geeked out.
The Masked Singer studio audience and panel voted…the SEASON 10 WINNER IS….COW!!!! Robin praised Donut and guessed it was Sir Tom Jones, while Nicole doubled down her guess of Englebert Humperdink. Ken joined Robin in guessing Sir Tom Jones, and Jenny doubled down her guess of actor John Schneider. JENNY AND MY MOM, GLORIA, WERE RIGHT…DONUT IS JOHN SCHNEIDER! Thank you, Mr. Schneider for the incredible performances this season!
After John left the stage, Cow returned for the unmasking! Robin guessed that Cow was his boy Ne-Yo and Nicole guessed her brother: Ne-Yo too. Ken boldly guessed Usher and Jenny suggested Billy Porter…ROBIN, NICOLE, and I were RIGHT…NE-YO was COW!
CONGRATULATIONS TO NE-YO ON WINNING The Masked Singer: Season 10!
Nicole, thank you for the incredible 10 seasons! We will miss you very much!
Next season, Rita Ora reunites with her Masked Singer UK OG panelist Ken Jeong as a part of the panel!
