Hi everyone!
During the next coming days, I will be previewing the hottest pop culture events of this year.
To kick things off, I will give you my take on what’s coming to the television world!
Tina & Amy return to the Golden Globes
Dynamite duo Tina Fey and BFF Amy Poehler return to host the Golden Globes and after successfully breathing new life into the Ceremonies, will they follow-up with another dynamic night of entertainment? The Golden Globes will air on Sunday, January 12.
American Idol XIII
Every year, I get excited for the legendary singing competition! Unfortunately, last season’s unimpressive talent (minus Candice, Kree, Angie, Amber and Curtis) and bickering divas almost made me tune off of the long running FOX show. But can returning judge Jennifer Lopez and newcomer Harry Connick, Jr. help returning judge Keith Urban and Ryan Seacrest return the show to its former glory? Tune in to FOX on January 15 to find out!
The 56th Annual Grammy Awards
Will Jay-Z be crowned King of the Grammys and surpass Michael Jackson and Santana’s record of the most Grammy Awards won in a single night? Or will either Justin Timberlake, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis or Pharrell Williams (each have seven nominations) torpedo his chances? P!nk, Daft Punk and Imagine Dragons will take the stage and LL Cool J returns to hosting duties on January 26.
2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi
All eyes will be on Sochi, Russia for a majority of February (7-23) as thousands of athletes compete for Olympic glory during the Winter Olympics. John Schuster, Erika Brown, Brian Hansen and Brittany Bowe are among the 260 athletes representing the United States.
Usher & Shakira return to “The Voice”
Two-time champ Adam Levine and Three-time champ Blake Shelton reunite with Shakira and Usher for the sixth season of The Voice. Will Adam continue his winning streak or will having a break help both Shakira and Usher get to the finale? Season Six’s Blind Auditions start on February 24.
Something Wicked comes to “Once Upon A Time”
One of literature’s most dangerous villains invades Storybrooke in March! What does the Wicked Witch of the West (Rebecca Mader) have in mind for our heroes and villains? Will she be nastier than Pan, Cora or Jafar? OUAT returns to ABC on March 9.
