A serial entrepreneur, Jonathan Sposato is the Co-Founder and Chairman of GeekWire.com, as well as the Chairman and Founder of PicMonkey, the world’s most popular web photo editor. He is also the founder of WeCount.org, a nonprofit using consumer internet technologies to aid the homeless. Alon with countless other investments and startups, Jonathan also founded Phatbits, which became Google Gadgets. Before that, he was a Senior Manager in Microsoft’s consumer division, personally delivering the next level of thought on crucial Microsoft properties to company leadership and chairman Bill Gates. He also drove the development of award-winning software applications, Xbox video games, and social communications applications.
In April 2022, Variety reported that Jonathan launched his multimedia platform JoySauce Network. The platform allows the AAPI community to showcase newly developed dramatic shows, reality TV, podcasts, editorial pieces, and curated third-party content. His late-night variety series, JoySauce Late Night, is among the shows launched. The show highlights the Asian-American experience and promotes up-and-coming talent. David Henry Hwang (Showtime’s The Affair), Miranda Kwok (Fox’s The Cleaning Lady), and NASA Astronaut Ed Lu.
