It is a pleasure to welcome singer-songwriter Josh Olsen to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
Josh Olsen first came into the public eye when he made music with his brother, Jeremiah. Their online videos caught The X Factor USA producers’ attention, who invited them to audition for the defunct FOX singing competition’s sophomore season. After wowing Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Demi Lovato, and Britney Spears, the duo advanced to the callbacks and were eventually cut at the Top 40 portion of the competition.
Once they were eliminated from the competition, the brothers decided to pursue solo careers. After performing at an Austin megachurch, Josh decided to move to Los Angeles in 2016. During his early days in Los Angeles, Josh collaborated with actor Juan Pablo Di Pace (Netflix’s Fuller House) that included songs for Juan Pablo’s Broadway debut: A Night with Juan Pablo Di Pace.
