Tonight, The Voice: Season 13 Blind Auditions came to a dramatic close.
Before we get to the action, here is where all four teams stand:
Team Adam Levine: Dave Crosby, Brandon Showell, Dylan Gerard, Hannah Mrozak, Adam Pierce, Anthony Alexander, Emily Luther, Brandon Brown, Whitney Fenimore, & Jon Mero.
Team Miley Cyrus: Janice Freeman, Brooke Simpson, Ashland Craft, Shilo Gold, Addison Agen, Moriah Formica, Sophia Bollman, Karli Webster, Chloe Kohanski, Ilianna Viramontes, & Katrina Rose.
Team Jennifer Hudson: Chris Weaver, Shi’Ann Jones, Lucas Holliday, Maharasyi Hansa, Davon Fleming, Kathrina Feigh, Alexandra Joyce, Eric Lyn, Stephan Marcellus, Ignatious Carmouche, & Meagan McNeal.
Team Blake Shelton: Mitchell Lee, Esera Tuaolo, Keisha Renee, Red Marlow, Adam Cunningham, Noah Mac, Anna Catherine DeHart, Dennis Drummond, Rebecca Brunner, Natalie Stovell, & Ryan Scripps.
While Blake, Miley, and Jennifer each had one artist to search for, the Maroon 5 had to find two more artists complete his team. Also, keep in mind, this episode could be similar to Season 12 as Alicia Keys found Chris Blue during the final minutes of Season 12’s Blinds, and he won the entire season.
Read on to find out who were the last five artists that completed the teams!
As the coaches returned to their chairs, 19-year-old Kristi Hoopes considers herself to be a hippie chick with a country twang. Kristi admired Loretta Lynn and even paid homage to her when she sang “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’” at the school talent show. She hopes that all of her training would impress the coaches. She tackled “Heaven Heartache and the Power of Love.” Kristi’s voice intrigued me, and it caught the attention of Adam, Blake, and Jennifer. Adam and the ladies begged Kristi to try something different and not go with the obvious choice (Blake). However, Kristi Hoopes became the final member of Team Blake!
25-year-old Michael Kight’s parents raised him with a plethora of soul and rock artists such as Lionel Richie and Elvis. As he got older, Michael became a huge fan of Maroon 5 and Adam Levine. After working as a side man for numerous artists in Nashville, he decided to step into the spotlight. For his Blind Audition, he sang Maroon 5’s “Sugar.” It is always risky to sing a coach’s song, but Adam turned his chair for Michael. Adam was very impressed that Michael performed a stripped version of the tune and Michael could not contain his excitement.

18-year-old Jeremiah Miller came from a wrestling family, but he has a passion for music. The Fort Worth, Texas, high school graduate, hoped that he would be one of the artists to be mentored by one of the coaches. Jeremiah’s stage presence and radio-ready take on Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands” blew everyone away. Adam and Jennifer turned around and fought for him. While Adam was bluntly honest and told him that he needed a lot of work, Jennifer connected with Jeremiah’s faith and added that he could be the next Justin Bieber. Despite being a Maroon 5 fan, Jeremiah chose to complete Team JHud!
20-year-old Megan Rose is a country music fan! Morgan dedicated her Blind Audition performance to her father who suffered from Multiple Sclerosis. Morgan’s superb take on “Ode to Billie Joe” caught the attention of both Adam and Miley. The two coaches decided to up the ante as Miley announced that she is trying to make “HERstory” as she hoped to create the show’s first all-female team. Despite Adam’s best efforts, Morgan helped Miley made history as she became the final member of her team.
26-year-old Gary Carpenter had the honor of closing out the Season 13 Blind Auditions. He chose music over baseball and hoped that he could grab one of the final spots on the coaches’ teams. Gary performed Michael Buble’s “Home” and he melted everyone’s hearts with his goregous velvet baritone. Once Adam turned around, Gary freaked out but he kept his composure until the end of the song. As Gary teared up, Adam thanked him for completing his team and the entire Universal Studios Hollywood soundstage erupted with joy!
Next week, The Voice: Season 13 Battle Rounds begin!
