From Bill Murray’s first appearance at Comic-Con and Harrison Ford’s return to Conan O’Brien’s epic late night takeover, the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con will go down in the history books as one of the event’s most exciting Comic-Cons in pop culture history!
However, Saturday is going to be one busy day for panels! Here are some panels that I would recommend to go to for your viewing pleasure.
10:00 AM-Once Upon A Time (Ballroom 20)
In the past, Storybrooke has survived threats from Cora (Barbara Hershey), Pan (Robbie Kay), Zelena (Rebecca Mader) and the Queens of Darkness (Kristin Bauer van Straten, Merrin Dungey and Victoria Smurfit), but can they take down one-of-their-own? Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) has now inherited Gold (Robert Carlyle)’s darkness and is the new Dark One! Can the Charmings (Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas), Regina (Lana Parrilla), Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) and Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) unite to save Emma? Join the OUAT cast and series co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis as they preview the ABC fantasy series’ upcoming fifth season.
10:30 AM-Warner Bros. Presentation (Hall H)
Prefer superheroes to fairy tales? The Warner Bros. Presentation is the panel for you! An all-star group of actors Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot will join director Zack Snyder as they tease Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice! In addition, Hugh Jackman will join Pan co-stars Garrett Hedlund and Levi Miller and film director Joe Wright to preview their interpretation of the classic fairy tale. Finally, Cavill returns to the stage with actors Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander and Elizabeth Debicki as they tease their remake of The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
11:00 AM-TV Guide Magazine’s Fan Favorites (Ballroom 20)
TV Guide has assembled an impressive ensemble of actors such as David Anders, Yvette Nicole Brown, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Norman Reedus and Ming-Na Wen take Ballroom 20 by storm! Expect the actors to share some juicy behind-the-scenes scoop about some of the most popular shows on the air such as iZombie, the Odd Couple, The Goldbergs, The Walking Dead and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
11:15 AM-New DC Universe-Batman: Are You Ready? (Room 6DE)
For almost four years, the Batman creative team (Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo and Danny Miki) revolutionized the Caped Crusader’s world with epic storylines such as “The Court of Owls,” “Death of the Family,” “Zero Year” and “Endgame.” Now, the trio set their sights on James Gordon as they chose him to take over the Cape and Cowl! What threats will the former Gotham City Police Commissioner face as the new armored Batman? The trio will answer all your questions at this panel!
12:00 PM-The Simpsons (Ballroom 20)
Springfield’s favorite family has had a busy summer! Between debunking Homer and Marge’s divorce rumors, Harry Shearer’s exit and eventual return to the show and Homer “hijacking” Donald Trump’s speech, it seems that fans were satisfied with everything in the Simpsons’ universe. However, series creator Matt Groening, longtime producers Al Jean and Matt Selman and the voice of Bart Simpson herself: Nancy Cartwright will share more information regarding the FOX animated hit’s 27th season! 12:30 PM-DC Entertainment: Grant Morrison-The Multiversity & Beyond (Room 6DE)
Grant Morrison is one of the greatest comic book writers of all-time! From his career-defining runs of Animal Man, JLA, Batman and 52 to world-ending events such as Final Crisis and The Multiversity, Grant Morrison’s epic stories always leave fans wanting more. Now, the iconic writer will reflect on his latest project (The Multiversity) with fans at this panel!
2:45 PM-Marvel-Cup O’Joe (Room 6BCF)
Got a question about the House of Ideas? Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada might have the answers that you seek! Expect a diverse collection of Marvel’s finest ranging from Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso and Executive Editor Tom Brevoort to creators Charles Soule, Cullen Bunn, Mark Waid and others to stop by to say “Hello!”
3:00 PM-The Muppet Show Coming to ABC (Room 6A)
Are you a “Man or Muppet”? Do you miss seeing the Muppets? Head to Room 6A to learn more about the Muppets’ upcoming ABC show as several creators and Muppet performers will take audience inside the world of Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Walter and Scooter!
8:00 PM-Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment Screening Block (Hall H)
End your Comic-Con experience by visiting Hall H! Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment will showcase what’s next for their biggest shows: Arrow, Flash and Gotham! In addition, fans will also see the sneak peek for upcoming series Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and the animated series: Vixen. Adding on to the excitement are the appearances of some of your favorite actors and creators! Will fans get to see the Amells and Grant Gustin interact with Ben McKenzie and Robin Lord Taylor? Head to Hall H to find out!
